About

On 10 June, about 28 Wirrayaraay women, children and old men were hacked to death by a posse of stockmen at Myall Creek, a run 50km west of what is now the NSW town of Inverell.

The Myall Creek Massacre is a formative event in Australia's often bloody and oppressive history.

Many people want to know more about the Frontier Wars and their aftermath, and acknowledgement of Indigenous contributions to the nation has never been higher.

But knowledge is often lacking. This blog is intended to provide information to communities about that event, and how it helped to shape the story of the nation.
